International Women’s Day: Break the Bias: Inspiring Stories from outstanding Turkish Women

The Circle Foundation hosted a virtual panel on the International Women’s Day.

This year’s theme for International Women’s Day 2022 is the #BreakTheBias and The Circle Foundation has celebrated the International Women’s day by sharing inspirational stories and achievements of the Turkish women across the UK society. The panel speakers were the successful Turkish women across various sectors, who have succeeded in breaking the bias in their own community and workplace.

The panel speakers included Cagla Bekbolet, the Managing Partner of Egon Zehnder’s London Office, Eylem, Turkish-Cypriot Singer, Didem Un Ates, Head of Applied Strategy, Data & AI, at the CDO Office of Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions and Techwomen 100 Champion, Dr Yasemin Allsop MBE, Lecturer in Primary Education at Institute of Education, University College London, Nevsal Elevli, Journalist at Milliyet Newspaper And Olcay Bayir, Singer and Songwriter.

The event was held live on Instagram and over 300 people have watched the event live.

The live event has ended with the live performance given by the Turkish Cypriot singer Eylem.
